Lee Templeton of San Francisco just back from Dublin. While in Dublin and on my way to a Johnny Fean gig, my ride played the Rads version (which I hadn't heard before) of "Hucklebuck" for me. Fantastic stuff! Got me to searching around on the web and I found a page on the history of the Hucklebuck. www.wfmu.org/LCD/26/huck2.htmlThere's a good plug for the Rads there in the "Standards and Classics" section. Then, when I got back home, a copy of The Summer Season EP and other goodies was waiting in the mail for me. Wonderful!

Thanks for the link Lee. I remember Tony Visconti suggested we should release our version as an a side single. we stared at him and said 'you cannot be serious' We didn't. Within a few months a version by someone i can't remember hit the UK top twenty...oh well I hope you enjoyed The SS.EP

That's right! I'd nearly forgotten hearing the alternative "Faithful Departed" too. So, this has been a Radiators Day for me. I took TV Tube Heart into work to upload into the iTunes network here. And then John Murphy of Boston has finally updated his radio playlist and there's: The Radiators Plan 9 - Television Screen 2004 - Television Screen 2004 EP The Radiators Plan 9 - Kitty Ricketts - Television Screen 2004 EP in the mix.
