Anyone got any information on the Radiators "new" drummer Johnny Bonnie? I have been really impressed by his palying the couple of times I have seen him with The Rads and The Enemigos. Any backround information would be appreciated.

Here is some background information on Johnny.
He has played drums for just about everybody in Ireland & would appear to know everyone in the music industry.
Before The Radiators gig his most famous collaboration was with Those Handsome Devils the best band to come out of this island and I mean the best.
Some of you may remember the Cut the Crap tour the Clash did a few years back well Johnny’s band opened for them on the second night. legend has it that Paul Simmon spotted them on an RTE kids program and was so impressed he got in touch with their manager.
He has recently collaborated with the former singer of the Great Western Squares who released a great country version of The Ace Of Spades.
As well as the Radiators he Plays with Pinhead a Ramones tribute & finds time to do session work. You will often find him in JJ Smiths standing in for various Country, Bluegrass blues & rock & Roll bands.
This is only a potted history and Johnny would have much more detail but I think he would be too humble to say.

A few years back ? 21 years back. But yes, I remember the gig alright. The Outcasts played support the first night and were great too.
