Hi , I'm curious as to why there is a need for a "members only" area. I'm a regularish visitor to these pages , have posted a couple of times and probably like a lot of people here don't like signing up for internet groupy things -like yahoogroups etc. - As I have bookmarked the general board page I don't have too many reasons to go back to the front page too often but did tonight and saw the post total is up to 68 or so, in other words far more active than the general boards. Now given that all I'm really interested is the music and gigs and there doesn't seem to be much happening on that front for the moment I'm not worried about missing out on stuff now. I guess I'm wondering what's behind the locked door and more pertinently why is there a need to lock it? Other artists I like, Dylan, Springsteen, Dexys, Mary Gauthier, Clive Barnes, all have fairly open forums (fora?) and the Radiators community is not as large as say Dylans where there may well be private closed groups but there is still plenty of open posting.
All the best
Stephen

Hi Stephen, I take your point and hope not to cause offence to non registered members. I suppose its to do with members meetings and stuff, where we discuss things with fans that we might not reveal generally. (to be used against us?). Also i though originally of it as something special for those members, a reward perhaps? But in this case, due to respect for the feelings you expressed if you mail me at
peteholidai@theradiators.tv
I'll be happy to give you non-registered access to the forbidden zone
