Just some quick thoughts on last night.
Overall a really enjoyable show. Obviously Phil was missed but Pete with help from Steve did a grand job on the vocals. Never having seen Gavin before I was impressed with him once he got into his stride. There was a good mix in the crowd and definitely more women than I have seen at any of the other gigs over the last two years or so. I thought the sound was poor - particularly for poor Stagger Lee - but the band overcame it. I bought a friend who particularly liked the Pilgrim songs which he hadn't heard before.
The DJ before and between the bands wsa great. Anybody know who he was?
keep at it guys, its great fun seeing you up there , the music stands up well , the new songs have life and depth to them . Long may it continue!

The voodoo gig was great although a bit shambolic if i remember correctly. The rads cant do anything wrong in my book anyway. A pretty big crowd as well. Gavin Friday got a mixed reception from the crowd and plenty of slagging!! But overall a great gig.
