Just another reason why I wish I was home. Not an easy task to get into Dublin when I am living the other side of Toronto! Hope all goes well. Any chance of a soundboard recording of the show? ;D

The Radiators for Dublin
11 Mar 2005
Hotpress’ more, ahem, mature readers will be delighted to hear that the The Radiators (Plan 9) are playing an intimate Dublin show in Whelan’s on April 3.
The even better news is that as part of Ace/Chiswick’s 30th birthday celebrations, their classic TV Tube Heart and Ghostown albums are being re-released through Gael Linn on March 29.
Having featured prominently in the HP’s Greatest Irish Albums Of All Time – Musicians and Readers versions – we reckon there’s going to be a lot of old vinyl replaced.

Here's the poster if , like my last crappy computer , you have difficulty loading up Pdf files - I've printed of copies of it and will sticking them up in my shop here in Ranelagh. I'm still awfully conflicted about the clash with the Kaisers show . Their album is alright but their shows have been getting great reviews........

Kaiser Chiefs for Oxegen
15 Mar 2005
As the festival bill slowly grows, Joss Stone and Kaiser Chiefs are next to be step up to the plate
Soul singer Joss Stone and Kaiser Chiefs look set to descend on County Kildare this summer, having just been announced for Oxegen's Scottish sister festival, T In The Park.
The festivals, which both take place on July 9 and 10, have traditionally been staged with mirror-image line-ups, meaning that Stone, who plays July 9 in Scotland, will perform at Oxegen on Sunday, July 10.
For their part, Kaiser Chiefs will be in Ireland sooner than their July 9 Oxegen slot, with headline dates at Dublin's Ambassador and The Limelight, Belfast on April 3 and 4 repsectively You have no excuse now John!

From the new Hot Press - Radiation Vibe HOTPRESS’ more, ahem , mature readers will be delighted to hear that The Radiators (Plan 9) are playing a intimote Dublin show in Whelan’s on April 3. Support is provided by former Almighty man Ricky Warwick who, as revealed in the last issue, releases his Love Many Trust Few album here in May. The even better news is that as part of Ace/Chiswick’s 30th birthday celebrations, their classic TV Tube Heart and Ghostown albums are being re-released through Gael Line on March 29. Having featured prominently in the HOTPRESS Greatest Irish Albums Of All Time — Musicians and Readers versions — we reckon there’s going to be a lot of old vinyl replaced.

I'm going to the Rads gig . The Kaiser Chiefs album just does not persuade me that standing for a few hours in a kip like The Amabassador is worthwhile. Then I go to 'phone Whelans box office....and their credit card machine is broken and would I mind phoning back tomorrow? Hmmm.....

Good call, see the Chiefs in the afternoon - you know it makes sense! I will be there, but it will be a quiet one after the Official Blood Or Whiskey day.
