She held a reception in honour of Irelands entertainers...I guess they compiled the invite list around the time of the Croker gig...nice day out though!
We were first in the Queue to meet...
She said that she prefered the raw edge of TV Tube Heart over the sophistication of Ghostown (Wake up Pete... its time to get up..."oh Cheers...i was having the weirdest dream about the President)

now that you have met the PRESIDENT, i suppose you won't bother with mere mortals like us anymore  i give it 6 month's and Pete and bono will be lecturing at the labour party conference ;D ;D ;D by the way PETE i am still honing by bass skills i still think ROY RABIES & THE RADIATORS sounds a cool name ;D ;D ;D seriously though folks many.many thanks PETE, JOHNNY, STEVE, PHILIP...it has been great meeting you all this year...it has been a year to remember..MANY GREAT TIMES... also it has been great to meet.J.FOYLE, SMASHER,LEIGH and others who's names i have forgotten i wish you all a very merry Christmas, and look forward to seeing you all next year in the beautiful city of DUBLIN |
